Who is Ironwood Sails, and what does that mean for your booking?
Ironwood Sails (phinisicharterbali.com) is a concierge brand that arranges private, full-boat phinisi charters departing Bali’s southern harbours — Benoa and Serangan — for sunset dinners, celebrations, weddings, corporate events, Nusa Penida and Lombok overnights, and Bali-to-Komodo repositioning voyages.
We are a booking intermediary. The vessels, crews, and marine operations are supplied and run by Bali Premium Trip or by other vetted licensed operators we introduce you to. Ironwood Sails does not own, register, flag, crew, or captain any boat described on this site. When we say a charter is “arranged via vetted licensed partners,” we mean the asset and its licences belong to that partner — not to us.
That distinction matters for your rights. The charter contract for your voyage is between you and the operating company that supplies the vessel. Ironwood Sails facilitates the introduction, the quote, and the coordination; it is not a party to the maritime service contract unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
What Ironwood Sails does — and does not — promise

We publish only credentials we can verify. Where this site or a sibling page references Bali Premium Trip’s operating history, we use its real, verified record and never invent award years, star ratings, or accreditations. If a claim cannot be attributed to a real, dated source, it does not appear here.
Why are all the prices marked “as of 2026, subject to change”?
Because they genuinely are. Phinisi charters out of Bali are typically priced as a flat full-boat rate rather than per person, and those rates move with fuel costs, season, vessel availability, and the rupiah exchange rate.
For context, one Bali phinisi operator publicly advertises a Benoa-departure day cruise “from IDR 18,000,000.” Converting that to roughly USD 1,100–1,200 is our own informed estimate at recent typical exchange rates — not an official quote, and not a rate Ironwood Sails sets. Treat every sunset, multi-day, wedding, corporate, and repositioning figure on this site as an indicative range. Only a written quote from the reservations team is binding.
Extras are commonly billed separately. Unless your written confirmation states otherwise, fuel surcharges, port and mooring fees, marine or national-park fees (for example Nusa Penida and Komodo), alcohol, and land transfers may be charged on top of the headline rate. Ask, and get it in writing, before you commit.
Is any content on this site financial, legal, or tax advice?
No. Any page discussing phinisi ownership, investment, chartering economics, or “invest in a phinisi” scenarios is informational only. It is general commentary, not personalised advice, and it carries no guarantee of returns, income, occupancy, or resale value.
We are not a licensed financial adviser, securities dealer, legal practitioner, or tax consultant. Ownership, investment, and vessel-registration decisions should be taken only with your own qualified, licensed professionals. Where such arrangements are possible at all, they are handled through vetted licensed partners — Ironwood Sails is the introducer, not the principal.
The same applies to regulatory content. Where we summarise Indonesian yacht-entry rules — for example that visiting yachts need passports valid at least 180 days beyond stay, a CAIT clearance, a tourist visa, and (since the 3 December 2011 simplification) a PIB temporary-import permit filed at the first port of call, typically via a licensed local agent — we present it as general context drawn from published cruising references, not as legal advice for your specific vessel or voyage. Rules change; confirm current requirements with a licensed Indonesian shipping agent.
How does Ironwood Sails handle your personal data?
When you contact us via WhatsApp or email, we receive the information you choose to share — usually your name, contact details, preferred dates, group size, and trip requirements. We use it solely to prepare your quote, coordinate with the operating company, and respond to you.
Indonesia (UU PDP, Law No. 27 of 2022). As a Bali-based operation, we handle personal data consistent with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data you have shared with us, and you may withdraw consent for future contact at any time by messaging the addresses below.
International visitors (GDPR-awareness). If you contact us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we recognise the principles of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation — lawful basis, data minimisation, and your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection. We do not sell your data, and we share it only with the operating company needed to fulfil your specific enquiry.
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to serve your request and meet ordinary record-keeping obligations, then remove it. This website may use standard analytics and messaging tools; by contacting us you consent to the routing of your message to our reservations team.
Limitation of liability, and how to reach us
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ironwood Sails and Juara Holding Group accept no liability for the acts, omissions, safety, seaworthiness, insurance, or performance of any independent operator, vessel, or crew introduced through this site, nor for losses arising from reliance on indicative prices, exchange estimates, seasonal guidance, or regulatory summaries published here. Charter safety and delivery are the responsibility of the operating company you contract with.
Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
