**These Terms of Service govern your use of phinisicharterbali.com and any enquiry you send us. Ironwood Sails is a Bali-departure concierge and booking desk, not the boat owner. Charters are contracted and operated by Bali Premium Trip or vetted licensed partners. Quotes are indicative until a written confirmation is issued, and all prices are subject to change.**
Current as of 5 July 2026. We may revise these terms; the version published here at the time you send an enquiry is the version that applies to that enquiry.
Who are you agreeing with?
Ironwood Sails is the trading name of a phinisi charter concierge operating the website phinisicharterbali.com. The website is published by Juara Holding Group. When you browse the site, request a rate card, or send a booking enquiry by WhatsApp or email, you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or send an enquiry.
Read these two points before anything else, because they shape every other clause:
- We arrange; we do not own the boats. Ironwood Sails is a booking desk for private full-boat phinisi charters departing Benoa and Serangan harbours in Bali. The vessels, crew and voyages are supplied and operated by Bali Premium Trip or by other vetted, licensed charter operators. We are not the asset owner.
- We are not a licensed adviser. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax, insurance or immigration advice. Where we describe regulations — for example the CAIT clearance, PIB temporary-import permit or national-park fees that apply to yachts in Indonesian waters — we are summarising publicly available cruising references as general context, not advising you on your situation. Confirm anything that matters to you with a qualified professional or a licensed local agent.
What does a charter enquiry actually create?
Sending an enquiry does not book a boat, and receiving a quote from us does not book a boat either. Here is the sequence:
| Stage | What happens | Are you committed? |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry | You message us on WhatsApp (6281128590000) or email (sales@balipremiumtrip.com) with dates, guest count and charter type | No |
| Indicative quote | We share an estimated full-boat rate and availability | No |
| Firm quote | The operator confirms vessel, date, inclusions and a fixed price in writing | No, until you accept |
| Confirmation and deposit | You accept the firm quote and pay the operator’s deposit under the operator’s terms | Yes — a contract forms with the operator |
The binding charter contract is between you and the operating company (Bali Premium Trip or the assigned licensed partner), on that company’s own booking terms, cancellation policy and payment schedule. Ironwood Sails introduces you and helps coordinate; we are not a party to the charter contract itself unless a document you sign says so in writing.
Are the prices on this site fixed?
No. Every figure you see on Ironwood Sails is indicative and dated, and it stays indicative until an operator issues a firm written quote for your specific dates and vessel.
For context, one Bali phinisi operator publicly advertises a Benoa-departure day cruise “from IDR 18,000,000” — roughly USD 1,100 to 1,200 at recent typical exchange rates, which is our informed estimate rather than an official conversion. As of 2026 that is the only directly citable Bali phinisi day-cruise price point we can point to, so we treat all sunset, celebration, multi-day and Bali-to-Komodo repositioning numbers as ranges that need a firm quote to become real.
Bali phinisi charters are normally priced as a flat full-boat rate, not per person. Read every quote carefully, because the following are commonly billed separately unless the operator confirms in writing that they are included:
- Fuel and any repositioning surcharge
- Port, harbour and mooring fees at Benoa or Serangan
- Marine park and conservation fees (for example Nusa Penida day-sail areas such as Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay, Manta Point and Toyapakeh, or Komodo National Park on longer routes)
- Alcohol and premium catering
- Land transfers to and from the harbour
All prices and exchange-rate figures on this site are stated “as of 2026, subject to change.” Currency moves, fuel costs shift, and operators update their rate cards. Do not rely on a number here as a locked price.
What do we promise, and what do we not?
We aim to give you accurate, current information and to route your enquiry quickly to a suitable licensed operator. We do not guarantee outcomes. In plain terms:
- We do not guarantee that a specific vessel, date, crew member, route or price will be available when you enquire.
- We do not guarantee weather, sea state or that a planned itinerary — a Nusa Penida day sail, a Lombok or Gili overnight, a Bali-to-Komodo passage — will run exactly as sketched. The operator and captain decide what is safe.
- We do not guarantee any commercial, investment or ownership outcome. Any charter-economics or vessel-ownership content on this site is informational only, carries no promise of returns, and is not a solicitation.
- We make no representation that we have verified every licence, insurance certificate or safety record of a third-party operator on your behalf. We work with operators we consider reputable; you remain responsible for your own due diligence and travel insurance.
Seasonality note: Indonesian phinisi cruises are marketed year-round, and detailed month-by-month sea-state records for the Bali–Nusa Penida–Lombok–Komodo corridor are not in our citable sources. Treat any dry-season or high-season guidance here as general orientation, not a forecast.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
The operator running your charter is responsible for the vessel, its crew, its safety equipment and the conduct of the voyage under Indonesian maritime rules and its own contract with you. Claims about the charter itself — cancellations, delays, injury, damage, itinerary changes — are matters between you and that operator.
Ironwood Sails’ role is limited to information and introduction. To the fullest extent Indonesian law allows, Ironwood Sails and Juara Holding Group are not liable for loss, injury, delay or expense arising from a charter operated by a third party, from acts of that operator or its crew, or from your reliance on indicative information published here. Where any liability of ours cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount, if any, you paid directly to Ironwood Sails (as distinct from amounts paid to an operator). We are not liable for events beyond reasonable control — weather, sea conditions, port closures, regulatory changes or force majeure.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory Indonesian consumer-protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
How do we handle your personal data?
When you enquire, you share data such as your name, contact details, travel dates and party size. We use it only to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and coordinate a booking with the operator you choose. We share it with the operator so they can serve you. We do not sell it.
We handle personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022, “UU PDP”). If you contact us from the EU, EEA or UK, we recognise the expectations of the GDPR and apply comparable care to your information. In practice this means you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data you have given us, and you can withdraw consent to further contact at any time by messaging the channels below. Because our booking channels are WhatsApp and email, your messages also pass through those providers under their own privacy terms.
For details, see our Privacy Policy. Where the two documents differ on data handling, the Privacy Policy governs.
Which law applies, and how do we reach a resolution?
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute arises with Ironwood Sails, please raise it with us first through WhatsApp or email so we can try to resolve it directly. Disputes that concern a charter contract are governed by the terms and jurisdiction stated in that operator’s own agreement with you.
If any clause here is found unenforceable, the rest stay in force.
How do you reach us?

Editorial oversight of this site sits with our on-site editor, Rania Wibawa, on behalf of the publisher, Juara Holding Group. For a request about your personal data, use the same channels and mention “data request” so we can route it correctly.
